LASU Senate confirms two profs for Deputy Vice Chancellor race, announces election dates
Gideon Adonai Senate of the Lagos State University, LASU has at its Special Meeting held virtually on Monday, 16th December, 2024, confirmed to academics as candidates to jostle for the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Orangesprings Blog understands. The Senate recalled that at its 316th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 28th November, 2024, it had approved the schedule of activities for election to the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) and invited applications from interested professors for the position. According to the communique obtained Sunday by our reporter, the Senate, during consideration, noted that: i) Two (2) professors had shown interest to vie for the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) and submitted their applications to the official email address of the Vice-Chancellor as required. ii) The professors who showed interest are: a).
