LASU's 23RD CONVOCATION CEREMONIES, VC AND PATRIOTS ARE JUBILANT

The Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, is now in new colours of glory as the 23rd convocation ceremony  is now underway. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, cladded in white, the colour of the egret, expresses joy as 57 first degree graduands bag first class, marking highest in the history of the institution.

Speaking on Thursday, May the 1st at the Faculty of education, 3-in-1 conference hall, Fagbohun expressed his ever increasing ecstasy. 'Gentlemen of the Press, I am delighted to inform you all that this year's convocation ceremony is a very unique and special one. It is so because our world class students in their habit of healthy rivalry to be the best at what they do, have pushed themselves so hard that at this year's convocation, we will be graduating fifty seven (57) first class students', he put forward, delivering his speech, amidst rapturous applause.

The ceremonies commence on Friday the 10th of May with Staff Convocation Cup Competition. The 'We are LASU... We are proud' mantra rent the atmosphere at the end of the press conference with reverberating exhilaration.
