VP, Yemi Osibajo Launches Free Meal For Ekiti Pupils

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibajo has launched the free meal proagamme in Ekiti, today Tuesday for school children.


  • The duo of Professor Osibajo and the state governor, Kayode Fayemi sat with the pulpils in their class and ate with them. According to the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, Ekiti State is the 31st state where the programme is launched. LASU: Academic activities to immediately resume as varsity gets gubernatorial lifeline

Gideon Adonai  Academic activities at the nation's most preferred university, Lagos State University, (LASU), Ojo and its other campuses are set to resume following breakthroughs in talks with union heads by top authorities of the Lagos governor's office. Following this development, confirmed by an insider in LASU, the Senate of the fastest growing university in terms of applicants' choices and latest infrastructure,  has approved the resumption of academic and social activities with effect from Wednesday, 13th August 2025. The said meeting was held on Monday, 11th August 2025. Thomas-Onashile, Oluwayemisi A.
