BREAKING: [#LASU27thConvocation] Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale officially announced as Best Graduating Student

Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale has been officially announced as the Best Graduating Student of the Lagos State University at the ongoing 27th Convocation Ceremonies.


The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi-Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni., NPOM made this announcement during her convocation address.

 

The elated prof said: "I am happy to announce that OLANIYI MUBARAQ OLAWALE of Accounting Education programme with a CGPA of 4.98 [First Class Honours] is our best-graduating student for the 2022/2023 Academic session 

Message to graduating students

My dear graduands, today you commence the journey to the world of work where expectations are high to prove your mettle as graduates of Lagos State University. In the last few years, you have been moulded in the finest academic tradition under the watch of some of the best educators anywhere in your chosen fields. I am confident that you have the requisite knowledge to take you through the challenges of a world in constant flux, shaped by evolving technologies; a world plagued by existential challenges. Yet, these challenges also offer abundant opportunities to demonstrate your creativity, resourcefulness, resilience and adaptability to difficult situations, no matter the odds. I am confident that this university has given you all you need to succeed in the world. Never at any point doubt yourself; build your confidence and strive to be the best in what you do and you will take the world by storm.

LASU portal opens for registration as students return to classes

Academic activities have fully resumed at the Lagos State University, LASU, Orangesprings Blog can confirm. There had been speculations that LASU staff were going to embark on a strike action over agitation for raise in remuneration, which the Visitor of the University and Governor of the State has immediately acted upon in a briefing verified by this blog.
